Face coverings, Masks

SEATTLE — Gov. Inslee announced Tuesday that face coverings will be mandatory statewide.

Face coverings or masks will be required in indoor public spaces and outdoors where you can’t maintain 6 feet of social distancing.

During a news conference, Inslee said this would go into effect Friday. People who do not wear a mask could face a misdemeanor violation.
