The International Children’s Friendship Festival (ICFF) is an annual cultural event held in Washington since 2010 that aims to honor children and youth all over the world. This festival is non-profit event, focuses on international children from all around the world to share cultural differences through music and dancing, therefore learning from each other while making friends.
This year’s festival was solely special due to Tsarskhan Mongolian School students participated for the first time. Since Covid-19 restriction this year’s event held online, therefore students had to be trained through online from home under the guidance of teacher. Our students participated in the festival with their Mongolian dance "Sharka Barka" which they prepared during their online training for a month. We would like to express our highest gratitude towards the parent, Tsarskhan Mongolian school teachers and staff for supporting their children and successful participation.
Even though our students had to learn through online, you can see how excellent they are dancing the folk dance with this following link at 1 hour and 17 minute mark.
